Barbecue Chicken Wings are the perfect tailgate party treat or game night snack.
These yummy wings will please all your friends & family!
Barbecue Chicken Wings
Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 1 recipe Spice rub (recipe below)
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 4 tablespoons olive or grapeseed oil
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
Prepare the Spice Rub recipe below.
Place the wings on a plate and If they are juicy, pat them dry with a clean paper towel.
Place the wings into the bowl of spice rub. Shake the bowl until the wings are coated with the spices.
Coat a sheet pan with the oil.
Place the wings on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flip over, coat liberally with some barbecue sauce, and bake 10-15 more minutes.
Serve with Buttermilk Ranch Dressing and extra Barbecue Sauce.
Spice Rub
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika (high-quality so it’s not too spicy or bitter)
- 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
Place all of the spice rub ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together until well-mixed.
