French Dressing

This classic French Dressing is even better homemade.

French Dressing

Pair it with your favorite salad. It goes especially well with a traditional chef’s salad.

French Dressing

    • 3/4 cup olive (or sunflower or vegetable) oil
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tablespoons grated sweet onion
    • 1/2 cup white vinegar
    • 1/2 cup ketchup
    • 1 tablespoon paprika (high-quality so it’s not too spicy or bitter)
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground pepper

Place all ingredients in a jar and cover with a lid. Give everything a good shake. If you prefer, you can blend your dressing so it’s smoother.

When you reach perfection, serve on a fresh green salad. Your friends will be so impressed.

  1. I made your recipe for French dressing yesterday. What surprised me was that you didn’t include garlic so I didn’t add it. When I tried the dressing over spinach salad (minus the bacon and cheddar cheese) it was really good. Combined very well with the seasonings I sprinkled on my salad. Will be making this very often. Tfs sweetie 😋😍😘😋😍😘
