Lunch Bag Snowflakes aren’t only easy to make, they are beautiful!
Great news! If you’re a crafty person, you probably already have everything you need to make these.
Lunch Bag Snowflakes
- 96 paper lunch bags (Here are some basic kraft paper lunch bags or these adorable polka dot lunch bags)
- Scissors
- About 12 inches of fishing line or strong thread
- Hot glue gun & hot glue
Count out 8 lunch bags.
Fold the tops in half so you can find the center, then cut the tops into a point.
I like to cut four at a time…
…and then line up the other four bags so I get the same cut. Eight bags can be quite thick.
Snip little triangles out all the way down the sides.
Again, copy the first cuts onto the other 4 bags.
Hot glue in a T shape (the top of the T should go across the bottom of the bag).
Cut some thread or fish line into about a 3-foot piece. Tie a knot in the end so it’s a big loop. Secure it onto the glue from top to bottom of the bags.
Extra thread should hang past the top of the bags so it can act as a hanger for your snowflakes. Continue gluing the bags together.
When you get the the last bag, carefully secure it to the first bag.
You will have beautiful snowflakes to hang around for parties or holidays.
The more little cuts you make along the sides, the prettier they are!
Just hang them by their threads and you’re all set!
They’re just soooo gorgeous!
Oh-so affordable!
Let it snow.
