Choose two decks & pull all the heart cards out.

Punch two holes at the top of each card about an inch or inch & a half apart.

When finished with all of the cards, place the twine in the right hole and bring it back out of the left hole. This will make sure most of the front of the card still shows rather than being blocked by the twine.

Slide the card all the way to about 1 foot from the end of the twine.

Then slide the next card in the same way until it almost touched the first card. Continue to do this until all of the cards are on the twine. Be careful to not let the twine become tangled. A long table or countertop is handy for this project for this reason.

Decide how far apart you’d like the cards to be and then tie the twine on the each of the ends onto the card so they don’t slip off the twine.

For the ribbons, use about 3 different colors. I used red, white, and black. And use about 4 different patterns such as gingham, polka-dot, striped, etc. This way everything will match; yet, still be delightfully creative. Place a ribbon through the first card in the same way the twine was placed. Continue this by varying the ribbons until you get to the end. If needed, trim the ribbons at a slant on the ends until they are the length you like and to remove any fraying so they look nicely trimmed.

To hang, just make a little loop on each of the ends and place them on hooks.

Voila! Perfect for a Valentine’s-themed game night or just because.

The Queen of Hearts would approve.

*Save the remaining cards for other crafts or banners. it’s the right thing to do.
